THE GODFATHER (1972) won 3 Oscars, but Brando famously rejected his, sending Sacheen Littlefeather to give a speech. Al Pacino also refused to attend, feeling that as he had more screen time than Brando, he should’ve been nominated for Best Actor, not Supporting.
